outboarded.lol

Rules

Short, because the original’s were short.

1. Leaderboards only

A leaderboard is a page whose main job is ranking other things: pay-to-rank boards, upvote boards, top-N directories, “best of” lists. If your page is the list, you’re in. If your page is the thing that wants to be on a list, you’re not.

The bouncer fetches your URL and looks for the signs — ranked positions, medals, pay-to-rank language, the word “leaderboard.” Known boards skip the line. Product pages get bounced with directions to outbid.lol.

2. Not allowed

3. Rank is revenue

4. If we can’t count it, we can’t list it

There are two doors. The bouncer checks that you’re a leaderboard. The counter checks that we can read your money. Fail either and you’re not listed — the form tells you what it saw and what to change.

We count either server-rendered HTML — numbered positions (#1, #2, #3… or 🥇🥈🥉), each followed by that entry's amount (like $1,234), plus a “1 - 50 of 561” pager if there's more than one page — or a public JSON endpoint the page itself loads (an array of entries with a bid / amount / paid field; Supabase REST and Firestore work too).

5. Listing is free

Paste the URL, pass both doors, you’re on. No payment, no account, no email. Re-submit the same URL any time to trigger a recount.

6. You can’t pay us to move up

There is no bid box. The only way to move a board up this list is to go spend money on that board — which, to be fair, is exactly what it was built for. Every card has a direct visit link. We count the clicks and show which boards people are visiting.

7. Recounts

Every board is re-counted every few minutes. Movement shows up in the feed. A big drop usually means a board changed its markup, not that it refunded anyone.

8. Clicks

Links on the board route through /go/… so we can count deliberate outbound clicks. Known crawlers, link previews, prefetches, non-navigation requests and quick repeat clicks are ignored. “Most clicked right now” means counted clicks in the last hour. That’s the entire analytics stack.

9. Moderation

We can remove anything that breaks these rules or is plainly awful. We’ll be fair about it.
